About the role#
The Enterprise Applications Student Assistant works with the Information Technology team to support records management, information governance, and data analytics. You will help university departments organize assets and transition physical records into digital systems. This role offers exposure to enterprise-level applications and university-wide projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform records inventory for various departments.
- Move, sort, and organize physical boxes.
- Prepare documents for digitizing and upload them to the electronic content management system.
- Index records and update metadata.
- Design digital forms and workflows for campus departments.
- Assist with data analytics projects and other IT assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at Dominican University.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Coursework in computer science, informatics, web design, or data analysis is preferred.
