About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for the FLM-225 Intro to Storyboarding course for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports students by answering questions, providing feedback on assignments, and offering guidance based on personal experience with the course material. The position requires a commitment of 7 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Advise students on storyboarding topics and assist with Storyboard Pro issues.
- Provide critique and feedback through Teams channels.
- Manage the chat during online lectures.
- Answer student questions during class labs when faculty is unavailable.
- Track and report all hours worked.
- Maintain availability for students outside of regular class hours.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Successful completion of FLM-225 (or ART-350) with a grade of B or better.
- Proficiency in the story pipeline and experience with Storyboard Pro or similar software.
- Ability to provide professional critique and communicate effectively.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong interest in supporting fellow students.
- Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Dates: July 31, 2026, to April 23, 2027.
- Class Schedule: Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
- Wage: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on prior terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: Student employees may not work during any time they have a scheduled class, even if a class is canceled or ends early.
