Student TA - FLM-225 Intro to Storyboarding (Mathues), F26-S27

About the role#

This position is for a Student Teaching Assistant for FLM-225: Intro to Storyboarding. The role involves supporting students in their understanding of assignments, providing feedback, and assisting with technical questions. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Advise students on storyboarding topics and assist with Storyboard Pro issues.
• Provide critique and feedback through Teams channels.
• Manage the chat during online lectures and answer student questions during class labs.
• Offer encouragement and advice based on personal experience with the course.
• Track and report hours worked accurately.
• Attend scheduled class times (Wednesdays, 5:00 - 7:50 p.m.) and be available for additional hours outside of class.

What you'll need#

• Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Successfully completed FLM-225 (or ART-350) with a grade of B or better.
• Comfortable with the story pipeline and experience with Storyboard Pro or similar software.
• Ability to provide professional critique and communicate effectively.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to the success of fellow students.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Term: Fall 2026 (Employment expected July 31, 2026 – April 23, 2027).
• Hours: 7 hours per week.
• Students must reside within the State of Washington and are not permitted to work during scheduled class times.
