About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for DES-360-A User Experience Design II for the Fall 2026 term. This position involves supporting the instructor with classroom operations and grading. The role requires 5 to 10 hours per week, with an uneven workload that increases during midterm and final exam periods. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting your own hours.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor in the classroom with equipment setup and operation.
- Facilitate student presentations and answer student questions during labs.
- Grade homework, quizzes, and other assignments.
- Meet weekly with the instructor to receive performance feedback and discuss duty modifications.
- Submit attendance sheets and perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current matriculated student status at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Good Academic Standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Successful completion of DES-360 with a grade of B or better.
- Ability to reside and work within the State of Washington.
- Submission of a resume, cover letter, and current semester academic schedule.

- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31 to December 11, 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on the number of terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: You may not work during any time when you are scheduled for a class.
