About the role#
Dewberry is looking for a Water Resources Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. Based in our Charlotte office, this position allows you to apply classroom knowledge to real projects while working alongside our team of professionals. You will gain hands-on experience and participate in a summer-long group project focused on our future strategy.
What you'll do#
- Design treatment works.
- Analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models.
- Perform computations for storm water and watershed master planning.
- Conduct stream restoration and water quality studies.
- Collaborate with firm leaders on a group project to address future strategy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred, while working knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD is a plus.
