About the role#
The Student Food Service Worker helps prepare and serve school meals while following food and safety standards. This is a part-time position for current students.
What you'll do#
- Prepare food following specific recipes.
- Set up serving lines for meal service.
- Serve meals to students.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
- Operate a cash register.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Contemporary Learning Academy High School.
- One letter of reference from a Dean, Counselor, Teacher, Assistant Principal, or Principal.
- Ability to read, count, and perform simple math.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without accommodations.
