About the role#
As a Process/Project Engineer Intern, you will support the design and construction of food and beverage processing facilities. You will work across project phases, from initial concepts to final commissioning. This role involves coordinating with various disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams, to ensure project goals are met.
What you'll do#
- Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
- Prepare process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Coordinate project tasks with engineers, designers, and architects.
- Assist project management with the development of scope, budget, and schedule for process work.
- Provide onsite support during construction, start-up, and commissioning.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with process flow diagrams and P&IDs is preferred.
- Previous experience in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or sanitary environments is a plus.

- Location: Duluth, Georgia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Travel: Up to 50% travel is required to visit project sites and other offices.
