About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position within the Research & Development Process Engineering team at our headquarters in Camden, New Jersey. You will work 40 hours per week on-site for a six-month term during Winter or Summer 2027. This program offers students the chance to work on projects for brands such as Campbell's, Goldfish, and V8 while receiving mentorship from experienced team members.
What you'll do#
- Solve technical challenges using experimental design and data analysis.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor quality and fix process issues.
- Assist with commercialization and process improvement trials.
- Complete documentation and update standard operating procedures.
- Support capital and cost savings projects.
- Collaborate with immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Lead a specific project and present your findings to the R&D organization at the end of your term.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Chemical Engineering or a related program.
- You need to have completed at least one semester of core Chemical Engineering or related coursework.
- You must be returning to school for at least one semester following the completion of this co-op.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- You must be able to work on-site in Camden, New Jersey, five days a week.
- You must be comfortable handling all food types, including meat and allergens like soy, wheat, egg, fish, shellfish, milk, and various nuts.
- We are only considering candidates who do not require employer sponsorship to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: Camden, New Jersey.
- Work environment: Office, research kitchen, and pilot plant settings. Some travel to manufacturing facilities may occur.
- Terms: Winter 2027 (January 11 to June 25) or Summer 2027 (July 12 to December 17).
