About the role#
Delta Dental of Michigan is looking for a law school student to join our Compliance department. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling start date. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in our Okemos office.
What you'll do#
- Research regulations to help the company follow State and Federal laws.
- Assist with company reporting and verify data accuracy to meet contract requirements.
- Help create compliance training materials and track completion across the organization.
- Analyze data and report on risks and trends to management.
- Review internal policies and procedures to ensure they meet legal standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in law school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
- A detail-oriented approach to your work.
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
