About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with client service teams to analyze the tax implications of complex business decisions. You will apply research and technology to help clients manage tax rates and meet their business goals. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct tax research on federal, state, and other tax matters.
- Analyze findings to develop insights on the tax impact of business and individual decisions.
- Support the preparation of technical memoranda, summaries, and other written analyses.
- Assist in preparing business and individual tax returns, forms, and supporting workpapers.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to gather information, track deliverables, and support daily client service needs.
- Assist with tax planning and compliance activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or higher in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date by Summer or Fall 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Eligibility to sit for the bar exam before beginning full-time employment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average.
- Ability to attend all in-person core programming sessions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Coursework or advanced study in taxation is preferred.
- Prior internship or work experience in tax, accounting, legal research, or a law firm is preferred.

- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office and expect to co-locate 2-3 times per week.
