About the role#
This internship provides exposure to audit and assurance services across various industries. You will work with a team of professionals to address business issues, ranging from strategy to execution. The role involves working independently and collaborating with colleagues and leaders to deliver high-quality audits and assurance reports. You will gain experience across audit, specialized assurance, accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financial statements, transactions, and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Assist in providing advisory and assurance services for clients.
- Perform data interrogation and analysis of client data.
- Identify and recommend solutions to client processes.
- Use innovative tools and technologies, including the implementation of Deloitte Way Workflows.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- A strong academic record with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to commute to an assigned office or client site.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to co-locate at an office or client site on average two times per week.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with a wage range of $26.90 to $53.97 per hour.
