About the role#
David Zwirner is seeking a motivated Digital Editorial Intern to support the gallery’s Digital Content team in New York. This role is designed for individuals interested in gaining experience in the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery and digital content creation.
What you'll do#
- Build and upload content to the gallery website.
- Maintain evergreen content and assist with ongoing site optimization projects.
- Collaborate with Web Production and Web Development teams to track and troubleshoot bugs.
- Provide research and project support for Content team initiatives.
- Support the production of the podcast, Dialogues: The David Zwirner, including research and audio proofing.
- Compile web and podcast analytics and conduct competitor research.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Fluency with Content Management Systems, Photoshop, G-Suite, and Notion.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and exercise discretion.
- An interest in contemporary art and the gallery’s program.
- Majors in Art, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Marketing are relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 14th – December 18th).
- Schedule: 10AM – 6PM, 3 days a week.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid at the NYC minimum wage of $17/hour.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. No lodging or commuting expenses are provided.
