About the role#
David Zwirner is seeking a Museum & Institutional Partnerships Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the Museum and Institutional Partnerships team with research, data management, and various projects. The position requires handling proprietary client information, making discretion and professional responsibility essential. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in New York.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research using both print and digital publications.
- Enter and maintain high volumes of detailed information within the gallery database.
- Review database records to ensure information remains relevant and accurate.
- Gather data regarding third-party exhibitions that relate to the gallery program.
- Update internal reference documents to reflect the most current information.
- Coordinate with other departments, including marketing, research, and artist management, to complete projects.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to exercise diligence.
- Excellent time management capabilities and acute attention to detail.
- Previous experience with data entry.
- Solid knowledge of contemporary art and the domestic institutional landscape.
- Academic background in Art, Communications, or Business Administration is preferred.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 15 – December 12, 2026).
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT.
