About the role#
David Zwirner is seeking a Digital Marketing & Client Development Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery while supporting the Client Development and Digital Marketing teams. The role is based in the New York gallery and requires a commitment of four days per week, Monday through Friday, from 10AM to 6PM.
What you'll do#
- Manage database records by entering, extracting, and updating information to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct research using print and digital publications, as well as social media, to support the Sales Team.
- Process inbound gallery messages using various technological platforms.
- Coordinate with the global team to maintain consistent inbox coverage and follow best practices.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Marketing, Client Development, Digital, and Sales departments.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and departmental needs as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in contemporary art and the gallery program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Comfort and capability in working with large amounts of data.
- Proficiency in exercising diligence and discretion.
- Preferred majors include Marketing, Business Administration, Art, or Communications.

- Term: Fall 2026 (September 1st through November 25th).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid at $17 per hour.
- Residency: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. No lodging or commuting expenses are provided.
