About the role#
David Zwirner is seeking a motivated Client Development Intern to join the team at our New York gallery. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery while supporting the sales team and client development staff.
What you'll do#
- Enter and extract information within the gallery database.
- Update existing records to ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct research using print and digital publications.
- Assist the sales team with various research projects.
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Art, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Comfort working with large amounts of data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Effective communication skills.
- Genuine interest in contemporary art.
- Ability to exercise diligence, discretion, and strong time management.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY (on-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 14th to December 18th).
- Schedule: 10AM to 6PM, 2 to 3 days per week.
- Compensation: Paid at $17/hour.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
