About the role#
David Zwirner is seeking a Sales Intern to support the Sales Team at the Tribeca location. This role provides hands-on experience with the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and project support to the Sales Team and front desk.
- Assist with exhibition-related tasks, including supporting gallery openings and events.
- Act as a gallery attendant to ensure the security and presentation of artwork.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the public by answering questions about exhibitions and programming.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and distribution of mail and packages.
- Prepare materials for client viewings and assist with client book mailings.
- Maintain internal resource documents and ensure the office and workstations remain orderly.
What you'll need#

- Pursuing or holding a degree in Art, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 – December 18, 2026).
- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional evening events. The schedule shifts to part-time (3.5 days a week or less) from December 8–18.
- Compensation: This is a paid position at $17/hour.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. No lodging or commuting expenses are provided.
