About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our team in Atlanta for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience in the residential construction industry. You will work on-site to learn how we manage home building from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Learn the home building process from pre-contract through the final closing.
- Assist with the warranty process by handling customer concerns and service requests.
- Observe daily builder operations, including quality assurance, safety protocols, and material control.
- Coordinate schedules and track project costs.
- See how new home sales and customer service influence our business results.
- Follow the David Weekley Way in your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time college program.
- An interest in a career within residential construction.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Availability to work at least one full weekend.
- Housing in the Atlanta Metropolitan area for the duration of the internship.
