About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the home building process. You will work with our team in Charlotte to learn how we manage projects from the initial contract through the final closing. You will see how we build the David Weekley Way and how that approach impacts our business.
What you'll do#
- Learn the day-to-day work of a builder, including scheduling, safety, and quality assurance.
- Manage material and project costs.
- Handle warranty requests and address customer concerns.
- Study the role of customer service in our operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time college program.
- An interest in residential construction.
- The ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Housing in the Charlotte, NC area for the summer of 2027.
