About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Austin, Texas. You will work on-site to learn the residential homebuilding process from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Learn the home building process from pre-contract through post-closing.
- Assist with the warranty process, including handling customer concerns and requests.
- Observe daily builder tasks such as scheduling, material control, and cost management.
- Monitor quality assurance and safety standards on the job site.
- Learn how customer service impacts the business and how to build the David Weekley Way.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time college program.
- An interest in pursuing a career in residential construction.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Local housing in the Austin area for the duration of the internship.
