About the role#
This HR Intern position is based at our assembly plant in Napoleon, Ohio, which produces parts for Ford Bronco and Ranger vehicles. You will support the HR team with hourly recruiting and general administrative operations on an on-site, full-time basis.
What you'll do#
- Lead new hire orientation and the onboarding process, including I-9 verification and badge creation.
- Manage the applicant tracking system by selecting and interviewing candidates for hourly roles.
- Update and maintain employee information across various HR systems.
- Organize and manage personnel folders.
- Assist the department with data entry, information collection, and general administrative support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably with a specialization in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, policy manuals, and operating instructions.
