About the role#
As a Data Engineering Intern, you will help build a secure and accurate data environment at Daikin Comfort. You will support software developers, database architects, and data scientists by ensuring consistent data delivery across projects. This role focuses on creating infrastructure that turns company data into a usable asset.
What you'll do#
- Automate manual processes and design internal improvements to increase scalability.
- Build infrastructure for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
- Develop methods to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our data systems.
- Work with stakeholders in manufacturing, sales, marketing, and executive teams to resolve data-related technical issues.
- Collaborate with analytics experts to increase the functionality of current data systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
