About the role#
This paid summer internship program offers students the chance to work directly with experienced Financial Advisors. You will spend nine weeks in a branch office observing the daily operations of an ethical practice. The program includes a week at the corporate office in Seattle to meet with Executive and Senior Leadership. You will also have the opportunity to study and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
What you'll do#
- Learn about the financial services industry from veterans.
- Collaborate on projects that support Financial Advisors and their clients.
- Participate in team building, community service, and presentations during the Seattle corporate office week.
- Gain hands-on experience in wealth management.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college by June 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, teamwork, and service skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to commit to the full nine-week program.
- Residence in the local branch area or pre-existing arrangements to live there.
- Successful completion of background, reference, and credit checks.

- Location: Ventura, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 14 to August 13).
- Commitment: Part-time, minimum 25 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
