About the role#
As a Corporate Strategy Co-Op, you will support the bank in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities. You will contribute to the development of strategic plans by conducting research and analysis. This role involves working with senior management to present recommendations and monitoring the progress of ongoing initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Research market trends to inform strategic initiatives.
- Support the development and presentation of recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in executing plans and propose solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies and suggest improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic plans.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to various stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with business intelligence software like PowerBI.
- Exposure to Generative AI tools and automation software.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL is preferred but not required.
