About the role#
This Finance Co-Op position at Customers Bank offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Corporate FP&A team. You will support core financial processes while working alongside business partners and the accounting department. This is a full-time, paid role based in New York, New York.
What you'll do#
- Support the annual planning and monthly forecasting processes by updating financial models and consolidating data.
- Perform variance and trend analyses to identify and explain key drivers of business performance.
- Help prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and presentations for leadership and board reviews.
- Work with Corporate FP&A, business partners, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial information.
- Support efforts to streamline reporting, automate manual tasks, and improve data accuracy.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects, scenario analysis, and quarterly earnings support.
- Participate in finance projects by creating documentation and drafting communications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a basic understanding of financial statements.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with data.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, curious approach with a willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Experience with financial systems like Workday Adaptive, Workday Financial, or QRM is a plus.
