About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. You will work on-site at construction sites, quarries, mines, and production facilities. This role offers hands-on experience in the wholesale building materials industry, allowing you to contribute to real projects while developing professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Gain on-site experience at various production and construction facilities.
- Analyze data and develop process strategies for capital projects.
- Take ownership of tasks that impact the business directly.
- Collaborate with teams to meet shared goals.
- Create and present a capstone project to executive leadership.
- Learn about regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Develop skills in scheduling, project profitability, accounts receivable, and billing.
- Support a strong safety culture in all daily activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited trade school, college, or university with good academic standing.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- A valid driver license, with possible endorsements.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle physical activity, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Strict adherence to all safety protocols and the use of required personal protective equipment.
- Professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with technology and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
