About the role#
The Mid-State Accounting Intern supports the Accounts Payable team at our Alexandria location. You will help the department maintain operational efficiency by handling daily financial tasks and supporting company personnel. This role requires a professional approach to both internal and external customer service.
What you'll do#
- Code and post expense payables.
- Manage the MSS AP mailbox.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Process store use tickets.
- Assist with vendor invoice management.
- Request credits from select vendors based on pricing agreements.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- At least two years of college coursework with a focus on Accounting or Business Administration.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
