About the role#
The Finance Intern at Crest Industries supports the strategic objectives of the Finance and Treasury teams. This role provides hands-on experience with financial data, reporting systems, and cross-functional collaboration to support informed decision-making. Interns gain exposure to cash flow management, budgeting, and corporate finance initiatives while working alongside executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the Finance and Treasury teams in executing short and long-term financial strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Analyze financial and operational data to drive business insights and support cash flow forecasting.
- Manage the corporate credit card program and contribute to the quarterly budgeting process.
- Develop long-term relationships with Crest and business unit leadership to advance business goals.
- Gain insight into customer and business unit needs while building solutions that meet expectations.
- Make sound decisions based on available analysis and judgment, even when information is incomplete.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- 0 to 1+ years of training or experience as a financial analyst.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to discuss technical objectives clearly with non-technical team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
