Finance Internship

About the role#

The Finance Internship at Crest Industries provides hands-on experience in corporate finance, treasury functions, and strategic planning. You will work directly with the Finance and Treasury teams to support informed decision-making through financial analysis, cash flow management, and budgeting. This role offers exposure to financial reporting systems and cross-functional collaboration within a growing organization.

What you'll do#

• Support the Finance and Treasury teams in executing short and long-term financial strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
• Collaborate with Crest and business unit leadership to develop long-term relationships and gain insight into operational needs.
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting, budgeting processes, and the management of the corporate credit card program.
• Utilize financial tools, including Excel and Vena, to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Make sound decisions and provide analysis even when working with incomplete information.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• 0 to 1+ years of training or experience as a financial analyst.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical objectives to non-technical stakeholders.
