About the role#
The Developer Intern helps design, develop, and improve business applications, workflows, automations, and reporting solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. You will work with business stakeholders and enterprise technology teams to solve operational challenges through low-code development. This position provides hands-on experience in software development lifecycles, business process analysis, and automation design.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop Power Apps applications and SharePoint-based solutions.
- Create Power Automate workflows and integrations.
- Build Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Participate in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution architecture reviews.
- Design data models to support business needs.
- Assist with application testing and quality assurance.
- Document technical designs and solutions.
- Develop automation opportunities to improve business efficiency.
- Support application lifecycle management and deployment activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, CIS, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming concepts.
- Understanding of databases and data structures.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Genuine interest in software development and automation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is remote, based out of Pineville, Louisiana.
- This position follows a rolling term.
