About the role#
Beta Engineering offers a 10-12 week summer internship program in Pineville, Louisiana. This is a full-time, paid position for students interested in the utility, industrial, and renewable energy markets. You will work within the Beta Engineering department to gain hands-on experience in the high-voltage industry.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside full-time team members on daily tasks.
- Learn about the projects we create, including substations and transmission lines.
- Participate in an environment that focuses on engineering, procurement, and construction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student.
- Pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Capability to work in an office setting, which includes prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
