About the role#
This co-op position provides project and administrative support to the Human Resources department at Coverys. You will gain exposure to Learning and Development, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and recruiting. This role is based in our Boston office and operates in a hybrid format.
What you'll do#
- Assist the recruiting team with interview scheduling, candidate communication, and recruitment consultations.
- Help prepare, execute, and track the new employee onboarding program.
- Coordinate logistics for on-site and virtual training programs, including room setup and materials.
- Design and update presentations, handouts, training evaluations, and job aids.
- Research methods to promote internship and co-op programs.
- Support the administration of the annual employee engagement survey and help develop department reports.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development Coordinator to manage the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and update DEI dashboard data.
- Support the DEI department and employee resource groups with meeting coordination and communications.
- Manage HR records, employment files, and process invoices through Workday.
- Provide general reporting and analysis support.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current Northeastern University student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
- A focus in Business, Communications, or Organizational Development is preferred.
- At least one completed co-op or business-related internship is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SharePoint, MS Forms, and LMS platforms is a plus.
