About the role#
As a Surety Underwriting Intern, you will join our team for a 12-week summer program. You will work on real projects while receiving guidance from our leadership and staff. This role offers exposure to the insurance industry and helps you build a foundation for your future career.
What you'll do#
- Maintain files and learn about the submission and active account lifecycle.
- Document underwriting information.
- Develop your understanding of underwriting materials.
- Work as part of a team to solve problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or a similar field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week program.
- Familiarity with the construction industry.
- Skills in financial analysis, organization, and communication.
- Strong attention to detail.

- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- This position is on-site.
