About the role#
The Ultrasound Student Worker provides support to the department while gaining professional experience. This role is for students currently enrolled in an accredited institution who want to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. You will balance your work tasks with your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily departmental tasks like data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
- Support staff with specific projects, such as preparing reports, updating databases, or creating presentations.
- Provide customer service to employees, students, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct research and gather information for department initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure data accuracy when handling sensitive information.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes.
- Complete assigned tasks on time and maintain regular attendance.
- Follow all company policies and standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited institution.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer software, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Previous office or administrative experience is a plus, though not required.
