About the role#
As a Human Resources intern, you will gain exposure to core recruiting and talent management functions. This role includes rotations and job shadowing across areas like benefits, compensation, HRIS, inclusion, and talent development. You will work on a full-time basis for 11 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment tasks including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding logistics.
- Maintain employee records, manage HR files, and handle daily administrative duties.
- Support internal events, surveys, and initiatives focused on workplace culture.
- Participate in HR projects related to campus recruitment, internship programs, process improvements, and research.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills to interact with candidates and team members.
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and multiple tasks.
- Analytical skills for research and process improvement projects.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Modality: Hybrid (onsite 4 days a week).
- Term: May 18, 2027, through July 30, 2027.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
