About the role#
This summer internship offers a hands-on experience within the Sales Enablement team at Commerce Bank. You will act as a consultant, using a mix of sales skills, marketing automation, and data-driven methods to support our sales teams. This is a full-time, paid position running for 11 weeks from May 18, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Identify high-value prospects using tools like ZoomInfo, Salesforce, DNB, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with CRM activities, including reviewing campaign data and dashboards.
- Attend sales team meetings and shadow sales calls to analyze business needs.
- Research current and competitor sales trends to present new ideas for marketing content.
- Support corporate priority Blue Chip projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
- Previous work experience in sales or customer service.
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving, analytics, and data management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Kansas City, Missouri.
- The work modality is hybrid, with on-site days varying by assignment.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
