About the role#
The Operational Finance Intern will support the Operations Finance team with day-to-day financial operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional environment, allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge to corporate accounting processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Organize and maintain accounting files in compliance with company policies.
- Assist with fixed assets by gathering requested documentation and schedules.
- Perform basic analysis of financial data and use Excel to track and report information.
- Provide administrative and ad-hoc support to the accounting team.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled and pursuing an Accounting-related degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience working as a member of a team.
- Ability to work in an office environment, primarily at a desk, with the ability to perform repetitive motions and computer-based tasks.
