Operational Finance Intern

About the role#

The Operational Finance Intern will support the Operations Finance team with day-to-day financial operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional environment, allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge to corporate accounting processes.

What you'll do#

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Organize and maintain accounting files in compliance with company policies.
• Assist with fixed assets by gathering requested documentation and schedules.
• Perform basic analysis of financial data and use Excel to track and report information.
• Provide administrative and ad-hoc support to the accounting team.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled and pursuing an Accounting-related degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working as a member of a team.
• Ability to work in an office environment, primarily at a desk, with the ability to perform repetitive motions and computer-based tasks.
