About the role#
As an Agronomy Sales Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the sales field by interviewing current sellers and identifying growth opportunities. You will spend your time gathering insights on sales enablement tools and programs to present your findings to Keystone Leadership at the end of the summer. This role involves significant time in the field to observe grower events and shadow experienced staff.
What you'll do#
- Interview agronomy sellers throughout the summer.
- Present your findings and insights to Keystone Leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing interns on assigned projects.
- Assist sellers with Keystone sales platforms.
- Attend grower and seller events to make observations.
- Participate in ride alongs with sellers, sales leads, and the sales enablement lead.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with preference for Juniors or Seniors in an Ag Sales program.
- Previous internship experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft apps and programs.
- A valid driver license, a good driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
Location & details#
- Location: Frankfort, Indiana.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 30% of time in the office and 70% in the field.
- Travel: 100% travel within the assigned territory is required.
- Compensation: This is a paid position that includes mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate and completion incentives.
