About the role#
As an Application Engineer Intern, you will help integrate technology across CNH platforms. You will work to ensure that new and existing products meet customer requirements and function correctly as part of a complete system. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Capture product requirements and coordinate with the development team to meet them.
- Create technical documentation for system designs.
- Support platform groups during product development and launch phases.
- Act as a liaison for engineering efforts between internal teams and external customers.
- Review technical data to ensure product performance and materials meet required standards.
- Verify that materials function and interact according to design specifications.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Provide input on the requirements, function, and fit of new or enhanced products.
- Keep track of market trends and developments in engineering design and methods.
- Assist with the quote or request for quote process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework.

- This role is based on-site in Baltic, South Dakota.
- This is a full-time position for the summer term.
