About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization and grain businesses at CHS Inc. You will work with professionals to gain experience in accounting and finance. This role is part of a broader early career networking and development cohort.
What you'll do#
- Complete financial transactions for accounts payable, cash accounting, fixed asset accounting, grain settlements, invoicing, and lease accounting.
- Work with internal and external customers to provide service by researching and resolving inquiries.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned.
- Present key findings from your work to leaders and other early career associates in a capstone presentation.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or agriculture.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience performing basic financial analysis.
- Previous work experience in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
