About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in agriculture operations. You will work directly with producers and the agronomy team to provide service and expertise. This is a full-time, paid position based in Ruthton, Minnesota, for the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Assist specialists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide data to customers.
- Apply integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Create written reports and present findings to supervisors or customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of agronomy products and services.
- Assist with over-the-counter sales, product delivery, and inventory management.
- Learn warehouse and plant operations, including equipment and facility maintenance.
- Use the Agris software for invoicing and inventory tracking.
- Support other departments as needed and follow safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Background knowledge or experience in agriculture is helpful.
