2026 Summer Internship - Digital & Technology Services

About the role#

This 12-week summer internship provides administrative and operational support within the Digital & Technology Services department. Interns work under the supervision of the IS Business Operations team to gain corporate experience through involvement in technology projects, staff meetings, and hospital events. The program offers exposure to advanced technologies, including ERP systems, Epic, Office 365, ServiceNow, and multi-platform networking environments.

What you'll do#

• Assist with scheduling, meeting minutes, communications, data analysis, and program management.
• Support the integration of information security into the development and design of hospital technology resources.
• Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and managing program materials.
• Receive training on necessary tools, languages, and documentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and healthcare accreditation standards regarding the handling of confidential information.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a college or university, or graduated within the past year.
• Pursuing or earned a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related Business field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 26, 2026 – August 14, 2026).
• Modality: Hybrid (80% remote, 20% on-site) and 100% on-site positions are available.
• Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
