About the role#
We are looking for a marketing intern to help bring our restaurant presence to life. You will focus on content creation, community engagement, and event support. This role is a fit for someone who enjoys storytelling, building local relationships, and connecting with guests.
What you'll do#
- Capture and create photo and video content for social media, including day in the life, team culture, and behind-the-scenes features.
- Go live on social platforms at least once per month and manage community interactions by responding to comments and messages.
- Research current social media trends and competitor strategies.
- Build relationships with local schools, businesses, and organizations to strengthen brand awareness.
- Represent the restaurant at community and networking events.
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of restaurant and community events.
- Maintain daily notes and provide weekly updates to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once.
- A positive attitude and strong people skills.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with social media management, photography, video editing, and content creation tools like Canva.
- Background in community outreach, networking, or event coordination.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing or Communications.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Schedule: Part-time with flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Compensation: $15 to $18 per hour.
