About the role#
We are looking for a part-time Digital Marketing intern to help share our restaurant story. You will focus on content creation, community networking, and event support. This role is for someone who enjoys storytelling and building local relationships.
What you'll do#
- Capture photo and video content for our social media channels.
- Create posts about our team culture, daily operations, and guest connections.
- Go live on social media platforms at least once per month.
- Manage our online presence by responding to comments and messages.
- Research current social media trends and competitor strategies.
- Connect with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
- Represent the restaurant at networking events and identify new partnership opportunities.
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of restaurant events.
- Track your progress through daily notes and weekly updates for the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once.
- A positive attitude and comfort working both independently and in a team.
- Experience with social media management, photography, and video editing.
- Familiarity with Canva or other content creation platforms.
- Interest in community outreach and event coordination.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Tampa, Florida.
- This is a paid, part-time, on-site internship.
- The schedule is flexible and includes some evenings and weekends to support local events.
