About the role#
Happy Hospitality is looking for a part-time marketing intern to join our team in Chicago. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our marketing, content, and brand initiatives. This is a paid, on-site role that offers the chance to work directly with our brand management team.
What you'll do#
- Work with the Brand Manager to develop and execute advertising campaigns.
- Partner with the team on merchandise collaborations and in-restaurant marketing.
- Create and execute promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Contribute to social media strategy and content creation.
- Support event nights and activations, including set-up and customer engagement.
- Manage day-to-day social media tasks like influencer research, community management, and trend tracking.
- Design visual assets and Canva collages for marketing and social media.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in marketing, advertising, and brand strategy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an in-person team environment.
- You are a social media enthusiast who stays current with trends, platforms, and content styles.
- A passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry.
- Strong creative and photography skills.
- A proactive, curious, and idea-driven mindset.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10-15 hours per week.
- Attendance: Must be available to work on-site 2-3 times per week.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes dining discounts at all company locations.
