The Supply Chain Management Development Program (SCMDP) internship offers hands-on experience within Chevron’s procurement and supply chain functions. This program is designed to develop critical skills through project-based work across the end-to-end global supply chain, including corporate and business unit roles. Interns will interact with leadership, senior management, and program alumni while gaining exposure to Chevron’s business operations and culture.
What you'll do#
- Conduct various supply chain analyses, including internal and external market research and data process analysis.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Perform market intelligence tasks for existing and new products and services.
- Participate in business process improvement initiatives across areas such as logistics, contracting, and inventory management.
- Engage in project management activities across multiple asset classes.
What you'll need#
- Previous internship or work experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication abilities and a commitment to teamwork and integrity.
- Current enrollment as a first-year MBA or Master’s student.
- Permanent US work authorization (sponsorship is not provided).
- Geographic mobility.

- Locations: Houston, Texas, and San Ramon, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: $8,100 per month.
- Benefits: Corporate housing is provided for the duration of the internship.
