About the role#
As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with the processes and standards that ensure project deliverables meet regulatory requirements. You will work alongside experienced QA professionals and project teams to see how inspection, testing, and documentation contribute to the reliability and safety of uranium enrichment and facility operations. You will also present your key contributions and lessons learned at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Assist QA engineers and managers with reviewing inspection reports and tracking compliance with industry standards.
- Support quality documentation and coordinate with engineering and construction teams.
- Analyze test data and review procedures and specifications.
- Assist with audit reporting.
- Participate in quality, safety, and project coordination meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor or graduate program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, quality assurance, construction management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of college-level coursework in a technical, business, or related program.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, or PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- U.S. citizenship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Piketon, Ohio.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
- This position requires a pre-employment background check, drug test, and vetting to grant access to export-controlled information and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information.
