About the role#
As a Project Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting projects at the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio. You will work alongside Senior Project Managers and cross-functional teams to see how complex projects are planned, coordinated, tracked, and delivered. This role provides practical experience in project execution, issue management, and stakeholder coordination.
What you'll do#
- Support ACPx projects under the guidance of experienced Senior Project Managers.
- Track issues, action items, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technology teams.
- Support software development initiatives involving Palantir and on-site project teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor or graduate program in business, project management, engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least two years of college-level coursework in a business or technical program.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, or basic project tracking tools.
- Classroom, internship, or group project experience involving planning, coordination, or team collaboration.
- Interest in project management, technology, process improvement, or operational excellence.
- U.S. citizenship.
