About the role#
As a Project Controls Intern at Centrus Energy, you will gain hands-on experience supporting projects at the American Centrifuge Plant in Oak Ridge. You will work alongside experienced project controls and management professionals to learn how teams use schedules, budgets, and performance data to monitor progress and support project delivery. This role offers practical experience for a future career in project controls, engineering, or business operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with maintaining project schedules and tracking costs or commitments.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
- Organize project data and reports.
- Identify variances and maintain action or issue logs.
- Prepare updates and presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and finance teams to keep complex projects on track.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor or graduate program in engineering, business, project management, construction management, finance, or operations management.
- Completion of at least two years of college-level coursework in a technical field.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an interest in working with data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship.
