About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you will serve as a primary contact for our apartment community in College Station. You will report to the General Manager and handle the daily operations of leasing and marketing. This role focuses on resident relations, property management, and supporting the community team to ensure a positive living experience for all residents.
What you'll do#
- Manage apartment rentals, including overseeing move-ins, lease renewals, and move-outs.
- Greet prospective clients, conduct property tours, and handle all leasing inquiries via phone or in-person.
- Process applications, secure deposits, and prepare necessary lease documentation.
- Support marketing initiatives, participate in outreach, and keep market information current.
- Plan resident functions and manage service requests to maintain high community standards.
- Ensure the leasing office and model apartments remain clean and ready for visitors.
- Participate in weekly leasing meetings and update reports to track activity.
- Enforce community policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Maintain flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and online databases.
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural awareness.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
