About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you will be a key player in our apartment community. You will report to the General Manager and handle all aspects of leasing and marketing while ensuring positive resident relations. This role requires you to manage apartment rentals, oversee move-ins, and handle lease renewals.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients, conduct property tours, and showcase features of the community.
- Generate and handle leads, qualify prospects, and maintain guest cards.
- Complete applications, secure deposits, and process lease paperwork.
- Prepare and submit applications for approval.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in and orient new residents.
- Handle phone calls and in-person inquiries.
- Assist with lease renewals and accept rental payments.
- Support marketing and sales efforts, including outreach marketing.
- Participate in weekly leasing activity meetings and monitor market conditions.
- Manage service requests and plan resident functions.
- Maintain community appearance and ensure the office and model apartments are clean.
- Enforce policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Provide support through after-hour on-call services.
What you'll need#
- Relative experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to be proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized approach to managing multiple tasks.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office and online systems or databases.
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural diversity awareness.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
