About the role#
As a Student Ambassador at Crestline Charlottesville, you will manage leasing and marketing tasks while maintaining positive resident relations. You will report to the General Manager and handle the full lifecycle of the resident experience, from initial inquiries to move-ins and renewals. This role requires 20-25 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients, conduct property tours, and showcase apartment features.
- Manage the application process, including securing deposits and processing lease paperwork.
- Handle phone calls, in-person inquiries, and follow up with prospective residents.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in and orient new residents to the community.
- Accept rental payments, assist with lease renewals, and maintain accurate commission records.
- Support marketing efforts, monitor market conditions, and participate in leasing meetings.
- Manage service requests and plan resident functions.
- Maintain the appearance of the community, including office and model apartments.
- Enforce policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Support the community team and participate in the turn process.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and initiative.
- High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and online databases.
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural diversity awareness.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Current enrollment as a student in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
