About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you will work on-site at our Gainesville property. You will handle leasing, marketing, and resident relations while reporting to the General Manager. This part-time position requires 20-25 hours of work per week and is open to students pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Manage apartment rentals, lease renewals, and move-in procedures.
- Greet prospective clients and conduct property tours.
- Generate and qualify leads while maintaining guest cards and following up with prospects.
- Prepare lease documentation, process applications, and secure deposits.
- Accept rental payments and maintain accurate commission records.
- Support marketing initiatives, participate in outreach, and monitor market conditions.
- Manage service requests and plan resident functions.
- Ensure the office and model apartments remain clean and presentable.
- Enforce community policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Communicate policy changes and provide insights for community improvements.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and online database systems.
- High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Resilience, adaptability, and an awareness of cultural diversity.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
